Composite metal foil manufacturing
CMFM is a combination of laminated object manufacturing and brazing technology. It is a process that uses Aluminium 1050 grade foils bonded by a special, 80 % zinc and 20 % aluminium by weight, brazing paste to form different parts for mechanical testing. These parts were tested for tensile properties and results show that the process is capable of producing parts with better material properties and consistency compared to traditional subtractive technologies.
